The Cresskill Public Library does not place leveled reading stickers on our books, nor do we organize our books by level. Reading Levels and Lexile numbers are Teachers' tools for assessment and instruction and should not be used to determine what your child should be reading. For more information about this, visit

That being said, we do understand that knowing a book's reading level can be helpful in determining whether a book is right for your child. Below are a collection of book lists available for every reading level based on the Fountas and Pinnell leveling system so you can have an idea what book are in your range.
